Concordia Voices
Thank you for visiting the Concordia Voices website!
A record-breaking audience was delighted by our summer evening jazz-themed concert on 20th June, with Iain Farrington’s jazz cantata Then Sing We All closing the evening to rapturous applause. If this tempts you to share the fun of singing with us in future concerts and I am delighted to announce that we will be holding an Open Rehearsal on Sunday 27th September from 6-9pm. This is an opportunity to join in with choir members as we sing through the programme for our next concert, and during an extended break in the middle of the evening there will be a chance to chat to members about the choir, over refreshments. This is a free event, but as we will be providing all the music needed for the rehearsal, as well as interval refreshments, we need to know numbers in advance. The link to subscribe is already on the website and we look forward to meeting you!If you are unable to attend the Open Rehearsal but are interested in joining the choir, please look for further information under ‘Join the Choir’. Details of past concerts can be found in the Past Performances section of the website, where you will also be able to explore the wide and varied range of music we have performed over the last few years. The emphasis is on enjoying the experience of singing together as we rehearse with our professional conductor and accompanist. Our final concert in the 2026 season is Music for Remembrance, Hope and Peace and is part of the St Mary’s Twickenham “Sundays at 6” concert series, raising money for church funds. Entry is free, with a retiring collection for the church, and programme details can be found on the website.Plans for 2027 are already afoot, with dates confirmed for 6th March, 26th June and 28th November. Keep checking the website for updates. Whether as an audience member or as a potential singer, we look forward to welcoming you soon.

About Concordia Voices
Concordia Voices is a friendly and well-established chamber choir of about 30 mixed voices. We enjoy singing a wide range of music, both sacred and secular, spanning five centuries, from the Renaissance to the present day. The choir performs both church services and concerts, sometimes in tandem with other groups such as the Richmond Shakespeare Society, Surrey Brass and local schools. Other occasional activities include charity concerts, appearances to support local events and participation in special celebrations. We also tour from time to time, both in the UK and abroad. The choir is always interested in finding new venues.
The choir is based in Hampton Hill, Middlesex, on the outskirts of London, and rehearses on Sunday evenings in the United Reformed Church on Hampton Hill High Street. Our year is structured into three terms, each with a concert, usually with seven rehearsals in the weeks before.
Further information about the choir, including details of past and future events and recordings of us singing, can be found on the relevant website pages. If you would like to find out more about us, or are an experienced singer interested in joining the choir, please contact us via the button below.
