A Message from the Chair
Welcome to the Concordia Voices website!
We have just completed a hugely successful and enjoyable 2023 season with
growing audience numbers, from whom we are getting enthusiastic feedback for our
performances. Details of last year’s concerts can be found in the Past Performances
section of the website, where you will also be able to explore the wide and varied
range of music we have performed over the last few years.
2024 promises to be another exciting year, with concerts based around the themes
of Dance and Jazz, and in the autumn we are delighted to be collaborating once
again with Richmond Shakespeare Society - (see Past Performances. ‘The Rose’,
November 2022) -- who will be celebrating their ninetieth year in 2024.
Keep checking our website for updates. We hope to see you at a concert soon!
If you are interested in singing with us, please look for further information under ‘Join
the Choir’.
Whether audience member or potential singer, we look forward to welcoming you.

Spring 2024
Next concert: Dance
A dynamic programme featuring Palmeri's 'Misatango', Whitacre's 'Five Hebrew Love Songs', two of Conte's 'Mexican Love Songs' and Telemann's 'Laudate Jehovam Omnes Gentes'
Considering the prolific number of concerts we were pleased to see so many of our loyal band of followers (and newcomers) at our Christmas concert at St James's Church, Hampton Hill, on 2 December. The choir was joined by Surrey Brass for Bob Chilcott's Wenceslas, together with harpist, Gabriella Jones, and Baritone soloist, Alex Bower Brown.

Summer 2022
Next concert: Night and Day, Songs of Faith, Joy and Wonder
After our first post-lockdown concert at the beginning of April, our return to 'normal' is complete (fingers crossed!). We are now rehearsing for our next concert, which will include music by Tallis, Mahler, Gjeilo, MacMillan, Brahms, Grieg and Whitacre.
We would love to see you there!
October 2021
Live rehearsals are back
After a break of more than 18 months we are delighted to be resuming live rehearsals. Â For the rest of the year rehearsals are taking place at St James's Church in Hampton Hill to allow for sufficient social distancing and ventilation. Â Our next concert will be on Saturday 4th December 2021 in St John the Divine, Richmond. We have planned a wonderful Christmas-themed celebration, with contributions from the Surrey Brass Quintet. Please do join us:Â we are looking forward very much to welcoming our audiences back once again!
